What type of funeral would you like?
Is it to be a cremation or burial or something different?
Where would you like the service to be held?
Is the service to be religious or civil or will there be no service at all?
If the service is to be a burial, which churchyard or cemetery?
Where would you like the funeral cortege to leave:
From the family home, from our Chapels of Rest or Meet at the place of service?
Will you be visiting the deceased in the chapel of rest to pay your last respects?
Would you like the deceased dressed in their own clothing or a gown?
Is there a theme or style you would like the funeral to take?
Is it family bearers or would you rather the funeral directors’ bearers to carry the coffin?

Funeral Transport & Route:
What style of hearse would you prefer?
Would you prefer traditional funeral vehicles or something a little different like a horse-drawn funeral carriage, motor bike, camper van, lorry or Land Rover style of hearse – all of which can be arranged upon request. Do require family limousines?
To travel with family and friends in an accompanying limousine can be of great comfort. Our limousines carry a maximum of 6 people along with a uniformed chauffeur.
Do you require use of a wheelchair, or a wheelchair adapted vehicle for elderly or disabled mourners?
Will an additional hearse be required to carry the flowers?
Would you like the hearse and following cars to take a special route to the funeral, for example passing by a favourite place?
Would you like a printed order of service?

Would you like to place a newspaper or online notice to announce details of the funeral?
During the service:
For services going into church – would you like an organist or choir?
What type of music and/or hymns would you like?
For services held at a crematorium would you like a visual tribute; a holding picture or a webcast of the service?
If you have opted for a cremation, would you like the curtains to close or to remain open with the coffin on view until you have left the crematorium chapel?
After the service:
Where is the reception to be held?
