At Unique funerals Walkden, we are privileged to be able to support you at such a challenging time, providing you with a sympathetic and warm atmosphere to help make the process as manageable as possible across Walkden, Eccles and Salford, Manchester. Our team understand your unique needs as a grieving family, and we will work tirelessly to ensure that every detail is taken care of with the utmost care and attention. We offer a range of personalised services, from bespoke caskets to sensitive guidance on how to choose the most appropriate songs and readings for the service. Trust us to give your precious child the beautiful send-off they deserve, as we support you every step of the way. It is our honour to carry out the funeral arrangements for children up to the age of 16 free of charge.
Sensitivity Guaranteed
Every family is different and copes with loss in their own way. We will support you however you are managing with a guiding hand, and we will take care of all of the arrangements. If you would like to be part of the process such as grave digging, carrying the coffin or designing the order of service, we can help facilitate this for you, but without any pressure at all.
Caring Preperation
From bringing your precious loved one into our care, preparing them for their funeral with the chosen clothes you have provided and ensuring their comfort and decency is maintained at all times, we treat your child as one of our own family. Our dedicated children's chapel of rest allows you to visit your in privacy and tranquillity to connect and reflect.
Complimentary Service
We will provide our services free of charge for babies and children under the age of 18. Please note that some funeral costs we pay are to other people on your behalf, such as a church or cemetery fees, grave digging, press announcements or floral tributes all of which may incur a charge. We will do our utmost to get these fees waived or reduced but there may be some spend required.
